GREEN SCHOOL MOVEMENT
The aim and objective of this club is to promote awareness about our environment and conserve all resources and trim down waste.
Activities conducted under Green School Club cabinet dedication and commitment towards the coming generations. The Green School was introduced at our school in August, 2014.
The role of the club members is to:
- Develop awareness about environment.
- To inculcate habits like appropriate use of natural resources.
- Learn to save electricity, water and fuel.
- Awareness about different kinds of pollutions
- Declaring our school as a no plastic zone area and encouraging the students and visitors to use paper bags (Paper bags are made by the students )
- Monitoring the electricity bill, maintain a record and making a graphical representation.
- Creating awareness by celebrating Earth Day, environment day, van Mahotsav, No car day, among students.
CHARITY CLUB
This club guides and directs students to address road safety. This club will spread the road safety alertness, traffic rules among masses.
Through this club students are made directly connected and made aware about various sections of our community who are under privileged and how their input could touch lives of many people at the same time giving back to the society and a humanitarian approach is experienced by all the students which in turn makes them socially responsible citizens.
TRAFFIC PATROLLING
This club guides and directs students to address road safety. This club will spread the road safety alertness, traffic rules among masses.
This club aims at the safety of students and the community. Students become volunteers and through strong collaboration and controlling skills, become responsible citizens who contribute to the communities.
Activities Undertaken
- Members try to dilute the traffic outside the school during school hours.
- Conduct road safety awareness amongst students, parents and teachers.
- Conduct rally for road safety.
- Displaying posters and banners regarding road safety.
